The Smallness of Great Things

Sunday Meditation - The Earth on Turtle's Back 🐢

This morning was a beautiful taste of Spring ... misty morning then gentle sunshine ... I moved my meditation area in front of our south-facing windows ... a lovely tea meditation with Being Tea & tea friends.

One of the threads of this morning's theme was the "smallness" of the signs that hint toward Spring ... the tiny buds on the trees, the little song sparrow singing his heart out at sunrise, the just-noticeable lengthening of daylight hours throughout the last month.

There's a somewhat deceiving smallness to the humble Turtle, I think, as well. This story reminds me of the greatness in small creatures. 🐢
