We each have the opportunity to assess our own values, our own vision of the future and then do what we can to step toward that future. We may vote similarly or differently, and yet how AMAZING is it that we can do so peacefully and with confidence, because of those who came before us, envisioning and stepping toward a future where more and more citizens have their right to a say in our governance.
I have done my own assessment of my values -- which center on freedom of choice, inclusion of diverse voices, and opportunity for each of us to work toward Dr. King's vision of the beloved community.
You are part of that vision and I'm fortunate for that.
